2020 U.S. Open: Winged Foot Flyover - Hole No. 12
An aerial view of the 12th hole of the West Course at Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, N.Y., host site of the 2020 U.S. Open Championship. In collaboration with Deloitte.
To succeed on the longest hole on the course, finding the fairway off the tee is paramount. To allow a clear view of the putting surface for the approach shot, the second shot needs to get past an 80-foot-tall tree at the turn of the dogleg left, about 160 yards from the green.
The United States Golf Association (USGA) conducts many of golf's most prestigious championships, highlighted by the U.S. Open, the U.S. Women's Open and the world’s premier amateur championships. Based in Liberty Corner, N.J., the USGA governs the game in the U.S., its territories and Mexico.
